S.P.H.E.E.D.

Welcome to S.P.H.E.E.D. the Space Pirate Hunting and Extermination Elite Division, your job is to exterminate space pirates. A plague that has made space travel extremely difficult for regular travelers from every planet in the galaxy.

S.P.H.E.E.D. is a very simple renpy space combat roguelike game, it features infinite progressively more difficult waves of space shooting combat, with an upgrade system where you can choose one from 3 randomly selected ship upgrades after every boss defeat

Killing pirates also nets you credits to trade for permanent upgrades in the shop and make your runs longer

There's a PC version, android version and web version available

CONTROLS:

Keyboard and mouse:

WASD or arrow keys to move the ship

Space key or left mouse click to shoot, release at full charge for laser attack (Laser attack always has 100% crit)

Enter key or Right mouse click to activate shield (Shield doubles attack damage while active but dissolves after one hit)

Mobile:

Swipe finger across the screen to move ship

Ship is always auto-firing, double tap  left side of screen at full charge for laser attack  (Laser attack always has 100% crit)

Double tap right side of screen to activate shield (Shield doubles attack damage while active but dissolves after one hit)

The way I made the game work is it starts in mobile mode (auto-fire) until it detects a keyboard press and switches to pc mode, this way even the web version will always play correctly regardless of which device you're using

The visuals, sounds and coding were all achieved with the help of AI as I'm no artist and am very amateur at coding

I tried testing and debugging as much as I could, but please report any bugs there might still be in the game
